It started innocently enough many years ago... 

A Food, Drink and Lifestyle Writer needed a catchy name to use on social media, a platform which would become instrumental in the growth of her career and pave the path toward future successes. One summer evening the Food, Drink and Lifestyle Writer was out sipping one of her favorite cocktails and GimletStyle, her online persona, was born.

Fast forward a few years and the Food, Drink and Lifestyle writer saw that many of her subjects, new and emerging businesses, needed help beyond the writing of a positive article. Drawing from her years in advertising and public relations, her success as a lifestyle writer and her command of the new world of digital marketing, GIMLET MARKETING was born. 

Ingredients:

2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
Garnish with a cucumber wheel or lime wedge
 

Directions:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the gin, lime juice and simple syrup. Stir vigorously with a long cocktail spoon until very cold.

Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass, or strain over a rocks glass filled with ice, depending on preference. Garnish with the cucumber wheel and serve immediately.
